At least some of the readers will remember that about some thirty years, the same hills of Koojimale in Sullia was very much in the news. People would excavate the hills for the crystalline stones that were found there. These stones were thought to be some sort of diamonds. They were actually some sort of very hard crystalline stones with a very high index of hardness. This kind of stones are used abrasives (like emery) to sharpen and polish industrial tools. Perhaps this may be the reason why these strangers are scouting these places.

Unbelievable that women is called as naxal. Shame on our society. Even if she did have any connection with naxalism, at any point of time, it cant be one to hurt the country. It has to be or must be something to do with injustice or poverty. Powerful, rich and wealthy, always has a habit of blaming poor and calling them in names, to divide them.

Maybe. But in this case i think it's commendable that the police did a complete investigation and cleared the air. Imagine if this was an actual naxalite
