Kadaba: Young girl jumps into river, rescued by auto driver

Kadaba, Mar 24: A young girl parked her scooty and jumped into river from Shantimogaru bridge near Alangaru under Kadaba police station limits on the evening of Saturday. Fortunately an autorickshaw driver who saw the girl jumping into the river, dived into the river immediately and brought her up before she drowned.

It is said that the young girl is a resident of Kaniyoor but not yet confirmed. Some other sources are saying that she is from Balya near Nelyadi. Locals say that a youth accompanied the girl.

The autorickshaw driver, who saved the girl from drowning got her admitted to Kadaba community hospital with the help of locals. Hospital sources confirmed that the girl recovered after first aid.
