This mild sporadic rains have further increased the heat and humidity levels to unprecedented levels in and around Mangalore; daytime temperatures have crossed the threshold levels of 38°C (desert climate) in the open (illventilated areas it would be around 40°C) with humidity crossing 70%, even there is hardly any relief after sunset or in the night time, these sort of temperatures are not conducive to life in any form; just read that in most reserved forests, most natural water bodies have dried up making wild animals jittery and stray into human habitats desperately in search for water!!
