Udupi: Woman, child injured in private bus-car collision

Udupi, Mar 23: An unfortunate accident occurred on NH 66 at Katapadi on Saturday March 23, involving a private bus and a car, resulting in injuries to a woman and a child.

The collision occurred as both vehicles were traveling towards Udupi, leading to a significant impact between them.

Prompt response from authorities saw Kaup CI Jayashree Mane, Kaup tahsildar Dr Pratibha, and other officials visiting the site to assess the situation.

In the aftermath of the accident, locals extended their support by facilitating the transportation of the injured to receive medical treatment. They were swiftly transported in a private vehicle for treatment.

    Please don't blame our exceptional private bus service, the sheer volume and coverage not to mention timing is of international standard. Even safety is exceptional when you see the overall numbers. Another very overlooked factor is the employment not just driver/conductor but large allied services.
