Mangaluru: Posters of Pradeep Barboza's upcoming Kannada movie ‘Kathe Mugidide' released

Mangaluru, Mar 17: The posters for ‘Kathe Mugidide', a Kannada film presented by Dr Frank Fernandes under the banner of Ferns Movie International and directed by Pradeep Barboza Paladka, have been unveiled.

‘Kathe Mugidide' marks the fifth production of Dr Frank Fernandes, Thottam is a renowned multilingual cinema producer known for his previous works like Jai Tulunadu and Ek Aslyar Ek Na. With this film, director Pradeep Barboza sets a milestone by directing in three languages—Konkani, Tulu, and Kannada.

The storyline of 'Kathe Mugidide' is adapted from a short story written by acclaimed Konkani fiction writer Dolphie Cascia. The screenplay and dialogues for the movie are crafted by K K Ragu Rattadi. Talented cinematographer Mohammad Safwan from Kochi has handled the camera, while Sachin Baada took charge of the editing. Prajwal Suvarna handled the DI and VFX works, and CK has handled make-up.

The film features Aman S Karkera, renowned for the award-winning movie 'Neeli Hakki', and Akshan S Karkera from 'Sapta Sagaradache' fame, in lead roles. Other actors include Pradeep Barboza, Violet, Mellu Valencia and Deepak Paladka among others.

The background music for the film is composed by Patson Periera, with lighting by Rawcut Studios, Melwyn Elpel as the production manager, William Padrengi as the art director, and Daniel Jaison designing the posters. Deepak Paladka is the project's promoter.

The project was dubbed and mixed at the Daijiworld Audio Visual Studio.

'Kathe Mugidide' marks the fifth movie project for Dr David Frank Fernandes, a businessman, film producer, and prominent orator.

The shooting took place over a 15-day stretch around Moodbidri, and 'Kathe Mugidide' is expected to hit theaters in April.
