Bengaluru, Mar 14: State JDS president H D Kumaraswamy has ridiculed Bengaluru Rural Congress MP D K Suresh for criticising his brother-in-law Dr C N Manjunath, former Director of Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, for being chosen as BJP candidate against him and claimed that DK Suresh was no comparison to Dr Manjunath.
“Entire country knows who Dr Manjunath is and what you are DK Suresh,’’ Kumaraswamy said in social media platform ‘’X’’ and asked the Congress leader not to speak lightly about the JDS leader’s brother-in-law.

“There is no need to say anything more,’’ Kumaraswamy said.
The JDS leader described Dr Manjunath for ruling the hearts of lakhs of poor people through his service and pointed out that it is evident that Suresh is speaking ill of the BJP candidate due to fear of defeat.
“What morality do you have to speak about Deve Gowda family? Entire State Congress party is captive of your (DK Suresh) family. Your elder brother is Deputy Chief Minister, sister’s husband is MLC while another is Kunigal MLA. Is this family politics or family package D K Suresh?’’ Kumaraswamy asked in another post.
In another post, Kumaraswamy asked D K Suresh: “There is nothing wrong if son-in-law (of Deve Gowda) is smart. But isn’t it wrong to harm another family as you do? What does it matter to you as to from which party he contests? He is your opponent in Bengaluru Rural Lok Sabha constituency. Fight against him instead of wasting your breath.’’
“Forget about Deve Gowda’s party. But first worry about your own party. If one goes on describing the scams by Congress all over the country, it will be a big novel. There is a big bandicoot in your own plate. Don’t bother about the fly in other’s plate. Is there another word than Awkward to describe you?’’ Kumaraswamy has asked in another tweet.
