Beltangady: Car veers off road, plunges into drain

Daijiworld Media Network – Beltangady (MS)

Beltangady, Mar 11: A car veered off the road and plunged into a roadside drain at Seetu, Mundaje village, along the National Highway. The driver reportedly lost control while traveling from Ujire to Charmadi. This particular section of the highway is currently undergoing construction work.

The absence of warning signs or boards along the road, coupled with ongoing digging and piles of mud at various points, likely contributed to the accident. It's presumed that the dust kicked up by these piles may have impaired the driver's visibility, leading to the loss of control and subsequent mishap.

Fortunately, despite the significant damage sustained by the car, the passengers emerged unharmed.
