Udupi, Mar 10: Senior RSS activist Panduranga Shanbagh of Udupi passed away due to heart attack in Ayodhya on Sunday, March 10 afternoon near Ram Mandir.

Just this morning he had received the darshan of deity Sri Rama, expressed his gratitude and left happily after accepting Kalashabhisheka Teertha Prasadam from Pejavara Swamiji.  He suffered a heart attack near the outer gate of the temple while arriving for the evening palanquin festival.  His close relatives immediately took him to hospital but he breathed his last.

Although Panduranga was physically blind he worked for Sangh Parivar throughout his life.
