Mumbai: ‘Navaratri Utsav’ Begins at Dahisar Saraswat Cultural and Recreation Centre

Mumbai, Sep 29: ‘Navaratri Utsav’ began at the Saraswat Cultural and Recreation Centre ground, Dahisar (East), on Wednesday September 28.  It is annually organized by Saraswat Cultural and Recreation Centre under GSB Sabha Dahisar – Borivali ®.

The Centre’s office-bearers offered ‘puja’ to Goddress Durgadevi and presented the gold crown on the first day of the festival on Wednesday September 28. Swami Sudhindrateerta of Kashi Mutt graced the occasion and blessed the devotees.



Vedamurti Laxminarayan Bhat and temple priest distributed the ‘prasadam’ to devotees.

Hundreds of devotees including Centre president K R Mallya, honorary chief secretary M U Padiyar, honorary treasurer Mohan A Kamat, organizer M V Kini, assistant conveners J D Lad and Sagura K Kamat, and joint secretary Sanoor Manohar V Kamat participated in the celebrations.
