Udupi, Mar 8: To commemorate International Women's Day, the Karnataka State Mahila Daurjanya Virodhi Okkoota Udupi District organized  "Our Clothes Are Our Rights," silent candle light march.  The event aimed to cultivate silent awareness and foster unity among women.

The program kicked off with a symbolic inauguration, featuring the release of balloons and the lighting of candles, symbolizing the collective strength of women. This Silent Awareness Program served as a poignant tribute to women's empowerment and rights, promoting a sense of unity and peace among all.



The event witnessed the presence of Fr William Martis, Rati Rao, Dr Arundhati, Rubina Abdul Razak, Mallamma Yalwar, and others. Shanthi Pereira skillfully compered the program, ensuring its smooth flow and success
