Kuwait: Salmiya Parish Youth Celebrate Teacher's Day

Kuwait, Sep 28: The Salmiya Parish Youth (SPY) organized Teacher’s Day recently for all the school teachers belonging to the Salmiya Parish here.

Handmade badges were distributed to every teacher who took part in the celebrations. As many as 35 teachers participated.

The whole event was carried out well by the youth with teachers as the students of the day and the youth as their monitors. A cake with a message “Thank you for your service” was cut with two of the teachers along with the youth director Fr Lionel Braganza and parish priest
Fr Blany Pinto.

Fr Blany gave his encouraging message for the teachers and the youth. Team games for teachers which involved a mime act, general knowledge and fun games were also arranged.

 Fr Joy and Fr Francis assistant parish priest also presided for this event.
