Kasargod: Seven kg gold buried found in Sajankila

Kasargod, Mar 8: Seven kg of gold that was buried underneath earth is found at Sajankila Bayar under Paivalike gram panchayat limits. Acting on definite tip off Karnataka police unearthed the buried gold.

Police suspect the intention of this act is to loot Rs 4,20,70,000 worth gold from bank at Adyanadka. Special police team had taken four people of Kasargod origin and one person of Bayar origin into custody in connection with the bank dacoity that occurred on February 7 at Adyanadka.

It is reported that the police dug the spot to retrieve the gold based on the information provided by the accused. It is said that more information will be made public soon.
