Pakistan to Raise Flood Aid in Dubai


Dubai, Sep 28 (IANS): Pakistan plans to launch a campaign here Thursday to raise funds for the flood affected people in that country.

A 12-member Pakistani delegation, representing all political parties and led by senate chairman Farooq H. Naek, will raise awareness about the devastation caused by floods in Pakistan as part of the fund-raising initiative.

Pakistan's Ambassador to the UAE Javed Malik said the effort will send a positive message to Pakistanis back home that at times of national crises the political parties are united, according to Pakistan's official APP news agency Tuesday.
