Daijiworld Media Network – Kadaba (MS)

Kadaba, Mar 4: A disturbing incident unfolded at the campus of a government PU college in town when a masked youth entered and perpetrated an acid attack on three girl students. The attacker was caught by the people.

The accused was identified as Abeen from Kerala. Abeen targeted Alina Sibi, Archana, and Amritha with acid. Among the victims, one girl sustained severe burn injuries, while the other two suffered minor injuries.

The victims suffered serious injuries on the face and were rushed to the hospital. According to preliminary reports, the victims are all students of Second Year Pre-University College (Class 12).

The accused wearing a mask and hat, who had managed to enter the college campus, attacked the victims as they preparing to enter the examination hall.

As the victims shouted for help, other students and staff rushed to them.

The acid-attacker, who tried to escape from the spot, was caught by the public. Reports said that he was caught and handed over to the police.

After coming to know about the incident, parents and other public gathered at the college premises and the hospital. The incident has raised a concern and created a panic situation in the communally sensitive region.

The motive behind this heinous act is suspected to be linked to a love failure. Abin, hailing from Nelambur taluk in Mallapuram district and pursuing an MBA, carried out the attack. Notably, the critically injured girl also hails from Kerala and is enrolled in the second PU science stream.

The physical scars left by an acid attack may heal, but the emotional scars may last a lifetime. There shouldn't be any mercy, leniency or sympathetic view in dealing sternly with culprit. Let taste the doze of his own medicine.

First justice, which should not be delayed, then healing and after that forgiveness, which only the victim can do, so let us atleast pray for the poor girls and not focus too much on the perpetrator.

In human, cruelty. Whatever the reason the culprit should be punished severely. (like salted cucumber/pickle with stronger preservatives)

All get well soon. One needs Self Control Spirit also Let go Spirit. Otherwise Anger, hatred, lust evil spirits... will join together and take one to hellish situation. If not repented then hell itself. These evil spirits (within oneself or in others) cannot be bound by an Iron Chain or a Gold chain but with the spiritual chain, the Holy Rosary as per Holy Scripture (Rev 20.1).

Daniel, if you are victim of acid attack, you forgive them but don't preach others. Acid attack on girls is worst than murdering them, The accused, if proven guilty, should get capital punishment.

Selling, purchasing, storing acid is also a crime (except for lab use etc) so authorities should find out from where acid was purchased and punish them also.

most heinous -- actually no words to describe such madness -- -- ruining someone's physical / facial appearance for life -- for no fault. ---- how they get acid -- should be banned -- punishment for holding and storing acid -- however available in all markets --------- ---- although the perpetrator to be blamed.

The criminal should also be given same treatment. Acid thrown at his face first, so that he must realise his mistakes. Then let him rot in rail for life
