Dubai: Emirates Putturians to Host Annual Get-together on Oct 7

Dubai, Sep 27: The annual get-together of Emirates Putturians is scheduled to be organized on October 7 at Ramee Royal Hotel near Al Maktoum bridge Karama.

The event will commence at 11 am and the final baila will be at 4.30 pm. The day will be full of fun and entertainment, with surprise gifts and events.

Heritage, the local live band will be in action as a special attraction with their foot tapping numbers. "This is a unique opportunity for all the parishioners of undivided Puttur, (presently Puttur, Maril and Bannur) who reside in UAE, to meet and greet their loved ones in Dubai. Like in the past, this year's event also generated good support from community members," says president Alex Gonsalves.

According to Alex Gonsalves, the founder member of the association, in spite of recession a lot of Putturians have already expressed their eagerness to attend. "We are set to break the records as far as the attendence is concerned, as many new faces are expected to attend."
