Udupi, Mar 1: As part of the restoration of Naga sannidhi, Brahma, Bobbarya, Abbaga Daraga deities, the place of Havanje Irmadi Beedu family, which has a history of more than 600 years, a prashna chintana ceremony was held on March 1 at the Nagasanidhiya belonging to the family.

Religious functions and darshana service of Naga deity were conducted under the leadership of chief priest Gururaj Bhat. Nagasanidhia belonging to Ermadi Beedu family is a miraculous place which was in a dilapidated state for the last few years.

 

Now, the restoration work of Nagasanidhya, Bobbarya place is going on with the cooperation of the family members and the villagers. An astrologer also informed the former minister Pramod Madhwaraj about this place,and as per his instruction, Pramod Madhwaraj used to perform pujas here on every Panchami day.

 

 

 

Now, Pramod Madhwaraj has taken the lead in the restoration work and has promised his special cooperation to carry out the restoration work.

Talking about the programmes, chairman of Sri Abbaga Daraga Temple restoration committee H Nagaraj Hede said, "Two months ago, the family members came forward to repair the house of the Ermadi Bedu family. On this occasion, we also decided to restore the Nagasannidhi, Bobbarya Sthana, Abbaga Daraga Sthana with 56 stones found at this place. According to this, Darshan Seva took place today at Nagasannidhi. Vastu Homa will be held on April 8, Brahma Kalash, Annasantharpane and Brahma Mandala will be held on April 9."

Speaking about the place, Pramodh Madhwaraj said, "A astrologer informed me about this place and also suggested to me to take the lead in the restoration work. I discussed this with Nagaraj Hegde and learnt about this devine place. I started to offer pujas at the place during every panchami. Fortunately, at the same time the family members and the villagers also decided to take up the restoration works. I will support the restoration work on my part as well."

Family members Shobha Shetty, K P Shetty, Harijeevan Hegde, Anil Shetty, Lokesh Shetty, Bhoju Poojary, treasurer of Sri Abbaga Daraga Temple restoration commitee Rakshith Shetty and others were present on the occasion.
