Kundapur, Mar 1: MP B Y Raghavendra expressed gratitude to Union Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnav, for the decision to halt Dadar-Tirunelveli Express train (22629/22630) at Mookambika railway station. Raghavendra emphasized that Mookambika railway station holds significant importance in Karnataka, as it serves devotees from Maharashtra, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu visiting the Kollur Mookambika temple. Many trains bound for Kerala and Mumbai routinely make stops at this station.

This railway stop will greatly benefit devotees, providing them with enhanced convenience to visit various religious destinations, including Madurai, Meenakshi, Guruvayoor, Shabarimale Ayyappa temples, and facilitate the journey of devotees from these places to Kollur Mookambika temple.
