Second PU exams begin in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi

Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 1: The second PU examination of 2023-24 academic year began on Friday March 1.

The exams will be held from March 1 to 22 from 10.15 am to 1.30 pm.

In total, 52157 students will write the examination in the twin coastal districts. In Dakshina Kannada 36147 students will take on the examination, while the number for Udupi is 16010 with 15,413 new candidates, 433 private students, and 214 re-takers. As many as 7745 students in the science stream, 6564 students in commerce and 1054 students in arts will appear for the exam from Udupi.

The examination will be held in 53 centres in Dakshina Kannada and 28 centres in the district of Udupi. The 200-meter area around the examination centers is declared as prohibited zone. Any kind of assistance to copying, sharing of answers in paper chits or through any other mode or distributing any other gadget is strictly prohibited.
