Mangaluru: Seminar on cancer management conducted by A J Hospital specialists

Mangaluru, Feb 29: A seminar focusing on successful cancer management and the overall responsibilities of doctors was organized by the Family Doctor’s Association and A J Hospital's Cancer Department at A J Grand Hotel on February 27.

Senior cancer specialist of A J Hospital, Dr Kamalakshna Shenoy, and the team shared their knowledge with the family doctors in the city, emphasizing that cancer management is the responsibility of a team of specialists.

A J Hospital cancer specialists, including Dr Rachan Shetty, Dr Kavita, Dr Suresh Karanth, Dr Navin Rudolf, Dr Vishwanath, Dr Sujith Rai, and others, discussed the recent developments in cancer treatment. Preetham Vas, A J Hospital Marketing Manager, provided brief details of the facilities and services available in the hospital.

President Dr Vivekananda Bhat welcomed the attendees. Former president and treasurer Dr Annayya Kulal Ulthoor introduced the specialists. Former president and secretary Dr G K Bhat compered the programme. Junior and senior family doctors, along with government doctors, were present. Dr J N Bhat initiated a prayer and proposed a vote of thanks.
