Udupi: Niramaya Institute organizes day-long workshop ‘NIHOP 2024’

Udupi, Feb 27: Niramaya Institute of Health Sciences, a unit of Vishnumoorthy Hayavadana Swami Education Society (R), Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Udupi in association with Delta Health Care, organized ‘NIHOP-2024’ day-long workshop on ‘Basic Life Support and Airway Management,’ on February 22.

Dr Thirumaleshwara Bhat principal SMVITM, Rahul Bisht, AHA-BLS and ACLS Instructor Delta Health Care Vadodara India, Dr Naveen M Ballal, director NIHS, Dr Flavia Castelino, principal NCON, B Shivashankar Pai principal in charge, NCAHS inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Chief guest Dr Thirumaleshwara Bhat, principal SMVITM spoke about the importance of health, health care facilities and role and responsibilities of health care professionals in saving the lives and he encouraged the students to participate in such workshops in addition to classroom learning. Dr Naveen Ballal explained the importance of basic life support. Students of NIHS & MBA SMVITM, Bantakal, Udupi Group of Institution Manipal, Vidya College of Nursing Kaup, Vidyarathna Institute of Health Sciences Udupi, and Adarsha Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Alevoor have participated in the workshop.

Principal of Niramaya College of Nursing Dr Flavia Castelino welcomed the gathering  Roshani Rodrigues, vice principal and co-convenor briefed about the topics of workshop and principal in charge NCAHS and convenor B Shivashankar Pai proposed vote of thanks. Jenifer was the master of ceremony.
