Mangaluru: St Aloysius Gonzaga School bags laurel in Chess Carnival

Mangaluru, Feb 27: The young chess players of St Aloysius Gonzaga School won second place in the 'Children’s Chess Carnival 2024' organized by Derik's Chess School, Mangaluru, held at Mount Carmel Central School Mangaluru recently. 

The students who topped in the event are Vihaan Aadarsh Lobo, Class 5, U-8 boys - 7/7 points, Zaara Khazi, Class 6, U-14 girls - 4.5/5 points, Mark Blasius D’Souza, class 2, U-8 boys - 6/6 points and Anvi Sai Kudva, class 2, U-8 girls - 5/5 points.

The principal and staff congratulated all the students for their achievement.
