Mumbai: Two books written by Gopala Trasi released

Mumbai, Feb 26: Chukki Salaga group of authors and artistes and Karnataka sangha Andheri released books ‘Chitra Choukattinache’ and ‘Othuva Khushi’ written by well-known author and poet, Gopala Trasi at the Mysuru association mini hall, Matunga Bhaudaji road in the evening on Feb 24.

In the programme chaired by veteran anchor and critic Bommarabettu A Narasimha, author and honorary editor of Havyaka Sandesha monthly magazine, advocate Amita S Bhagavat and author Kala Bhagavat introduced the books. The dignitaries felicitated and congratulated Savita Gopala Trasi couple.

Savita Aruna Shetty, Dr Surekha Nayak, Ashok Valadoor, K N Sathish, Dr Vaishali Nayak, Vani Raghunath, Krishna B Shetty, S Daya and Gopala Trasi took part in the poet’s gathering compered by Dr G P Kusuma and presented their poems.

Karnataka Sangha Andheri president Bhasker Suvarna welcomed and gave an introduction. Madhusoodan T R gave a keynote address. Ashok Valadoor compered the programme. Dinesh Sherigar proposed a vote of thanks.
