Udupi, Feb 24: In a significant development heralding a long-awaited transformation for Udupi, the delivery of girders for the proposed steel bridge spanning from Indrali to Udupi is set to materialize on Saturday, February 24. The confirmation came from Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna, who shared photographs of the truck laden with the essential components.

Expressing gratitude, MLA Suvarna extended his thanks to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje for their instrumental roles in advancing the project to this crucial stage.

The girders, meticulously crafted at the railway engineering department in Hubballi, have undergone thorough scrutiny and received approval from the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), ensuring their structural integrity and safety standards.

Upon arrival in Udupi, sources revealed that comprehensive spot inspections will be conducted by the relevant authorities before commencing the final phase of construction.

Finally Udupikars will heave a sigh of relief.... Main artery between Udupi and Manipal has been a headache for road users especially hospital visitors.... Now with the two independent tracks to and fro will be a real blessing... Don't think though we may have relief anytime before ensuing monsoon season....

Mangalore MLAs are sleeping, more than TEN YEARS, THERE IS A SERIOUS REQUIREMENT OF OVERBRIDGE From " NANTOOR TO KPT " MANGALORE. BUT UNFORTUNATRLY, these MLAs of Mangalore are involved in DABGEROUS RELIGIOUS POLITICS OF VOTES, INSTEAD OF SOLVING GRAVE GRIEVANCES AND VERY ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF MANGALOREANS, AS THERE ARE MORE THAN 50 ACCIDENTS, DEATH OF PEOPLE AND INCONVINIENCES. Where are the RSS, BAJRANDAL, BJP SUPPORTERS..?
