St Philomena College Felicitates Vice Principal Prof Ganesh Bhat K on his Retirement from service

Puttur, Feb 24: Prof Ganesh Bhat K who dedicated 37 years of his profession to the Department of Mathematics, St Philomena College Puttur, is honoured at the PG Seminar Hall of the College on 23 November 2024. Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, correspondent of the college, presided over the felicitation programme and spoke highlighting his steadfast dedication to achieving excellence, as he has served as a motivating educator throughout his extensive tenure. He extended his heartfelt wishes to Prof Ganesh Bhat K for a rewarding journey ahead.

Rev Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, the principal fondly reminisced about their shared journey, as vice principal and principal, evoking nostalgic memories. The commendable contributions of Ganesh Bhat K to the college in diverse roles are acknowledged with utmost admiration and gratitude.

The campus director, Fr Stany Pinto, acclaimed the dedicated service rendered by Ganesh Bhat K and conveyed his heartfelt blessings, wishing for a retirement filled with peace and happiness.

During his speech, Prof Ganesh Bhat joyfully reflected on his memories associated with the college and his profession, expressing gratitude and satisfaction. He extended his heartfelt thanks to all individuals who had contributed to his fulfilling career at the esteemed St Philomena College,Puttur.

Vice principals Dr Krishnakumar K and Dr Vijayakumar Moleyar were gracefully present on the dais.

Geethapoornima and team led the prayer, and Dr Dimple Jennifer Fernandes, president of the Staff Association, extended a warm welcome. Dr Krishnakumar K, HoD ,Chemistry delivered the felicitation address, while Dr Edwin D’Souza Department of Chemistry, read the Citation letter. Dr Basthyam Pais, secretary of the Staff Association, proposed vote of thanks. Jesline D’Cunha compered the programme.
