Dammam: Bhatkal Muslim Jamaath Holds Grand Eid Milan

Dammam, Sep 25: Bhatkal Muslim Jamaath (BMJ) - Muntaqa Sharqiya celebrated a grand Eid Milan and annual gathering of its members here at Zehran International Hotel recently.

The programme commenced with recitation of Quran by Maulana Abul Hassan Jubapu. Bhatkal municipal council president Inayatullah Shahbandari and BMJ, Jeddah president Zahid Ruknuddin were the chief guests.

Zahid Ruknuddin in his address remembered the founding members of the Jamaath like late Abubakar Kazia and Shekre Ibrahim. Inayatullah in his address raised concerns about present issues in Bhatkal.

Students hailing from Bhatkal were awarded with gold medals for excellence in CBSE exams for tenth and higher secondary classes. Hijaab, son of Abdul Nasir Damudi was given gold medal in the 10th grade where as in higher secondary Shola son of Javed Kola was given the gold medal.

There were different competitions, magic show and comedy show to enthrall the audience. A lucky draw was held wherein Rayyan Ruknaddin won the first prize Rs 1 lac, followed by Iqbal Siddique who won the Hero Honda Unicorn bike. The third lucky winner was Abdul Gani Kola who won Rs 50000, while another cash prize of Rs 25000 was also given. There were 50 other prizes such as laptop, mobile, Tickets to India etc.

Umme Qulsum Mualim presented Naat followed by a debate by Khulood Ruknaddin on Hadis of Prophet Mohammed. Convener of Eid Milan Syed Farooq Perzade welcomed the gathering and Jamaath joint secretary Arshad Hussain presented annual report of BMJ Dammam.

Ibrahim Khaleel Jauhar compered and Moyyaz Ahmed Motiya delivered the vote of thanks.

The programme which started at 11 pm in the night went on till 5 am in the morning.
