Minor school girl subjected to physical abuse, accused arrested in Bantwal

Bantwal, Feb 21: In a disturbing incident in Sajeepa Nadu village, a minor school girl was reportedly subjected to physical abuse by a hotel owner.

The accused, Abdulla from Sajeepa Nadu village, was brought to the attention of authorities when the girl's mother filed a complaint with the rural police station on February 18. The case came to light subsequently, prompting action from police.

Bantwal rural police station, under the leadership of SI Murthy and his team, swiftly acted upon the complaint and arrested the accused.

A case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act has been registered against him.
