Sullia: Bizarre theft - Thief swaps full gas cylinder with empty one

Daijiworld Media Network – Sullia (MS)

Sullia, Feb 20: In a bizarre incident reported from Jayanagara, a thief stole a full cooking gas cylinder and replaced it with an empty one on the night of February 18.

The stolen gas cylinder, which belonged to the HP company, was originally fitted to the gas stove behind the residence of the late Naushad, a resident of Jayanagar. It is worth noting that only women and children live in this house.

The thief took away the filled gas cylinder of the HP company and left behind an empty cylinder from the Indane company.

Upon attempting to light the stove, the house inmates discovered that the cylinder was empty and of a different company, thereby preventing the stove from functioning properly.
