The collision, which took place as Rahul was returning home from work, resulted in severe injuries, and unfortunately, he succumbed to them shortly after being admitted to the hospital.

The deceased, Rahul Balakrishna Ramkambe, a native of Mumbai, served as the branch manager at Maravanthe branch of Canara Bank. After completing his work at the branch on Saturday, Rahul was heading home to Kundapur when a truck, traveling from Byndoor to Kundapur, collided with his bike from behind.

However, while trying to drive on the wrong side at the Mullikatte divider, the truck got stuck in a drain along the highway. Subsequently, the truck was lifted with the assistance of a crane, and the police apprehended the driver.
