Kundapur, Feb 17: The body of a young man, suspected to be a student, was discovered on Kodi Beach on Saturday February 17.

Local residents who arrived at the beach noticed the lifeless body and found various items in the pockets of his trousers, including a belt, sandals, Aadhar card, college identity card, and bus tickets.

Given that the abdomen of the deceased was not bloated, it is presumed that drowning was not the cause of death.

According to a bus ticket found in his pocket, the deceased had travelled from Malavalli to Mysuru on Friday afternoon at 1:42 pm.

The Kundapur police are conducting further investigation.
