Mangaluru: Junior pro kabbadi season 1 held at Milagres College

Mangaluru, Feb 16: The Junior Pro Kabaddi match held on 10th February 2024 was a spirited event that brought together 23 teams, totalling 273 players, at a venue bustling with around 600 enthusiastic spectators.

Archibald & Nancy Menezes, IQAC member, Milagres College, Alphonses Mascarenhas, Management member, Maxim Vandana Monterio, Management member, Rakesh Malli, chairman, Karnataka Amateur Kabaddi asso, Coreespondent, Principal Fr Micheal Santhumayor, Purushothaman Poojary, well wisher were present on the dais.

The proceedings began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the commencement of a day filled with exciting kabaddi action.

The newly acquired kabaddi mat was inaugurated with honor by Archibald and Nancy, adding a touch of prestige to the playing arena.

Rakesh Malli, Chairman, Karnataka Amateur Kabaddi asso, inaugurated the tournament, officially marking the start of the intense kabaddi competition.

Throughout the event, the 23 teams showcased remarkable talent, determination and sportsmanship, captivating the audience with thrilling kabaddi matches.
