Timely arrival of 108 ambulance ensures safe home birth in Karkala

Karkala, Feb 3: A 108 ambulance personnel arrived promptly for an on-duty call to assist with a childbirth at a residence in Kadthala Sameeda Ellare in Karkala taluk.

Around 11:30 am on Saturday, the 108 ambulance team rushed to the location upon receiving information that a woman was experiencing severe labour pain. At that moment, the pregnant woman successfully gave birth to a baby girl through a normal delivery.

Both the mother, Lakshmi, and the child are in good health and have been admitted to the government women's hospital in Udupi.

The 108 ambulance team, including EMT Mantesh and pilot Prakash, has been commendable in their duty.
