Kasargod, Feb 2: The unfortunate incident involving the death of an auto driver, who fell from the terrace of a house under construction, occurred in Kubanur near Bandiyod.
The deceased has been identified as Padmanabha (45) from Kubanur.
Padmanabha worked as an auto-rickshaw driver at the Bandiyod stand.
Following the accident on Thursday evening, a neighbor rushed the critically injured Padmanabha to a private hospital in Mangaluru. Unfortunately, Padmanabha succumbed to his injuries on Friday afternoon, failing to respond to the treatment.
The Kumble police station has filed a case in connection with the incident.
