Udupi: Siddaramaiah-led govt creating confusion among public - Kota Poojary

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Jan 30: Kota Srinivas Poojary, leader of opposition in Karnataka legislative council said, “The style of functioning of Siddaramaiah-led Congress government is creating confusion among the people. They are saying that the Kantaraju report is ready. A sum of Rs 150 crore has been spent. I will accept it after holding a convention. There is no need to make propaganda for releasing the report. You have extended the tenure of president of backward communities. Have you planned to extend the same till the elections? CM Siddaramaiah is keeping backward communities, Dalits and scheduled class people in the dark. I condemn his stance.”

Srinivas Poojary was speaking in a news conference that was held at his office in the city. He further said, “CM used singular tense while addressing the president of India while giving clarification. Has he ever addressed Sonia or Rahul Gandhi in singular tense? I condemn his stance against the tribal community."

“Ahinda leader has become leader of minorities now. Scholarships and hostel facility of backward class children has been discontinued. He has released a financial grant of Rs 10,000 crore for the minorities but not given any facilities to the backward Dalits. The arrogance of Siddaramaiah government has crossed all limits," he said.

“Hanuma Dhwaja was hoisted after obtaining permission from grama panchayat by a private trust. But, lathi charge was carried out on women and children. Notice should have been served in accordance with the constitution rule. Lowering the flag at midnight is an insult meted out to Hindus and devotees of Lord Rama. That is why we are going to hoist the saffron flag in every household. If you have guts stop the same. I condemn the stand of Siddaramaiah government. This is a fight between supporters of Tipu Sultan and devotees of Lord Rama.”

Speaking on Yuvanidhi guarantee, Poojary said, “Guarantees have failed miserably in Karnataka. There are 40 lac eligible youths in the state to avail the Yuvanidhi guarantee. However, only four lac people have been selected for the scheme and the funds are limited to Rs 500 crore. Around 64000 students in the state are attending schools from home as there is no hostel facility.”

The BJP can win only 5 to 6 seats in Karnataka. At present people of Karnataka are happy with free Bhagyas. They get free electricity, free bus travel, free 2000, 3000 for unemployed youth etc.

I like the word chosen by Poojaryji. Confusion. Siddu will do this and this only. And there are many who does not matter are subscribing to his view. So, he will wave the kite until there is wind. Let us give his comments a good laugh and let police do what they do best.
