Bantwal, Jan 30: A fire erupted in a plywood manufacturing unit located at Kotekani near Sajipa, resulting in an estimated loss of Rs two lakh. The incident was swiftly responded to by fire engines from Bantwal and Pandeshwar, which, with the assistance of local residents, successfully brought the flames under control.

The factory, owned by Shabbir, witnessed the outbreak of the fire in a pile of wood within the factory yard. Quick action from the fire services prevented further escalation of the situation.







Raja, the assistant fire safety officer of Pandeshwar, along with Chandrakantha and personnel from the Bantwal fire service station, including Purushottama, Rajesh Shetty, Kiran Kumar, Rukkayya Amin, K Surendra, Nagaraj, and Jaunty, played crucial roles in the operation to extinguish the fire.

    i bet this unit must not have had even a small fire extinguisher cylinder..such is the state of third world corrupt country...just throw few thousands or lacs any govt officer will give licence
