Puttur, Dec 5: Preetham N (26), a manager of Parivar credit cooperative society and resident of Patte Maninje ended his life. The matter came to light on December 3.

Preetham was working with the company for the past five years and was manager for the past three years. He was managing the Mangaluru branch of the company for one-and-half years and was currently posted at the new branch at Sullia.

On December 2, Preetham had come home after his duty. He had asked his mother to wake him up early the next day as he has training at Moodbidri the following day. When his mother went to Preetham’s room at 6 am to wake him up on December 3, he was not in his room. His mobile phone and footwear were found near the well of the house.

Mother of Preetham called the fire service personnel. They brought the mortal remains from the well. In the case that is filed at Sampya police station, it is stated that he took the extreme step due to frustration in life. He is survived by parents and brother.
