Even RTO don't want implement the traffic light. Because of the city bus and rickshaw driver's pressure. Everywhere they install traffic lights. Only for commission. All over Mysore, banglore it works. But in mangalore only not working. What's the reason?

Whenever such incidents occurs, the transport authorities n the transport ministry makes statements on how they'll implement rules also fine offenders, but after few days everything is forgotten, palms r greased. Things go on as usual.

Bus drivers never wants to observe front mirror and observe the passengers movement while alighting , that is the basic rule driver needs to follow.

Bus drivers are very aggressive , after consuming 160ml then don't even observe neither side mirror nor rear mirrors , just right poyeee , Driver means attentiveness and observation is more important than going front and reverse . ( In India those who knows to drive front and take reverse is a professional driver - actually internationally that is not - passengers safety training is fist which India is lacking the most.)

Very very tragic....very sad...Elinje is my immediate neighborhood and so as Mundkur...Om sadgathi bro....My condolences to his family members. I dont understand why these bus personnel act and behave so cruelly and cause deaths to innocent ppl ? When freebie was given, those guys were crying no income and no out come. Govt should cease all the buses who cause deaths to the passengers. .!

@ RK. I loved your comment. Honestly i have seen people in Mangalore are filled with jealousy and gossip. Fighting for right thing is not happening. Even if scanty people open their mouth no one supports them. I recall an incident.....in a bus one young lady was sitting in a senior citizen seat at the edge leaving window seat vacant. Bus filled with passengrs in the bext stop. To my durprise neither she moved nor people demanded her to move including senior citizens . If all of us open our mouth for the right thing, situations may improve.
