Kundapura, Dec 3: Assistant Commissioner S R Rashmi said that if a person is not rich healthily he or she cannot lead a peaceful life in spite of being financially rich.

Rashmi spoke after inaugurating the health camp on Sunday. She further said, “There is no donation better than blood donation. A healthy person should donate blood at least once in a year. That will be a priceless gift a person can give to countless patients suffering from blood shortage.”

Dr Chandrashekhar, medical director of Udupi Adarsha Hospital said, “It is possible to protect health by diet control and regular health check ups.”
Raju Poojary, president of Badakere agricultural cooperative society said, “This health camp is organised with the concern of everyone’s health and concern for society in general. Everyone should be careful of protecting his or her health.”

An accident insurance coverage of Rs 1 lac was distributed to the families of people who died in road accidents. Tahsildar Pradeep R Navunda, grama panchayat president Narasimha Devadiga, Poornima, Harinath, Shankar, Chandra Kharvi, Prof A Raja and others were present.
