BJP will form govt in MP with full majority, says party MP Sudhanshu Trivedi

New Delhi, Dec 3 (IANS): BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi said that the saffron party will form government in Madhya Pradesh with full majority as early leads in assembly elections vote counting indicate a favorable outcome in three states.

Trivedi proclaimed, "We will win Chhattisgarh too. We are forming the government in MP and Rajasthan. We will achieve more than the majority in MP."

While acknowledging the positive trends, Trivedi cautioned against premature celebrations and said: "Let's wait for the result end."

Highlighting the public's trust in Prime Minister Modi, Trivedi remarked, "The trends show that people have trust in Modi."

On the BJP leading in three states, he said "People know PM Modi is the only guarantee.... Only he can take the nation forward."

BJP's lead has surpassed the halfway mark in Rajasthan, with their candidates ahead in 114 seats, while the Congress is leading in 70, as per the Election Commission trends for the state's assembly polls on Sunday at 12:18 p.m.

In Chattisgarh, the BJP is leading in 54 seats, and the Congress in 34, according to the ECI website. In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP is now ahead in 157 seats, while the Congress in 70.

In Telangana, the Congress is leading in 65, BRS in 39, BJP in nine, and CPI is leading on one.
