Beltangady: Rs 60000 each compensation declared for three injured in elephant attack

Beltangady, Dec 2: The forest department will pay Rs 60000 each compensation to three people who were injured in the incident where a lone tusker attacked a car on November 27 night.

After the incident, the elephant walked through Miyaru forest, Arasinamakki via Shishila and Shiradi Ghat according to the information provided by the forest officials.

Zonal forest officer Mohan Kumar said that the online registration of the injured person is done by the forest department for compensation.

Frequent attacks by wild elephants is on the rise in various parts of the taluk. Residents living near the edge of forest are concerned. People who venture out early in the morning like rubber tappers, milk vendors and those who return from work late night are living under constant fear.

    it is for the injured jossy bhai....if it was the brashta gobt...they would not even bothered to loook at the injured..because they belong to minority...simple example is that of useless chobakka not visiting the nejar family where four people were murdered...so thank almighty that Congress had some concern for citizens....even in mlore when two muslims were killed in retaliation to the killing of praveen takla bomma did not visit their house...such is the hatred against minorities openly pursued by the nagpur gulaamss...so try to understand being an intelligent person...
