Mangaluru South ACP honors honest bus conductor for returning passenger's lost belongings

Mangaluru, Dec 1: Acknowledging the integrity of conductor Jayaraj Kaarvi for promptly returning the lost belongings of a passenger, Mahesh Kumar, ACP of Central Sub-Division, presented him with an honor at the Mangaluru South Police Station.

On November 19, while traveling on the private bus KA 20 A 8296, a woman inadvertently left behind a bag containing jewelry and other valuables estimated at around Rs 50,000.

Bus conductor Jayaraj Kaarvi, displaying honesty and responsibility, ensured the safe return of the bag to its owner through Mangaluru South Station ASI Sridhar on November 20.
