Mumbai: Gopalakrishna Public trust, BSKB association celebrate Tulasi Pooja

Mumbai, Nov 27: Gopalakrishna Public trust and BSKB association held various programmes to celebrate Tulasi Pooja from November 14 to November 23 at Gokula here. Several artists performed Bhajans, Bharatanatya, musical gatherings, played flutes, saxophone etc during the week.

The temple priest Ganesh Bhat performed rituals on November 24. Umamaheshwari temple chief priest Srinivas Udupa had decorated the idol of Gopalakrishna deity under the cooperation of Ganesh Bhat. The idol of Tulasi Devi was decorated at Tulasi garden by Shalini Udupa.

 

Priest Ganesh Bhat conducted Srikrishna Tulasi Vivaha and Kshirabdhi festival after the night pooja under the leadership of chief priest Daregudde Srinivas Bhat and the supervision of Dr Suresh S Rao.

Gokula Bhajana Mandali performed bhajans. Singers from Udupi Sri Krishna mutt and pupil Vidwan Madhoor Narayana Sharalaya of Dr Vidyabhooshan sang ‘Dasa Sankeerthane’. Dr Suresh S Rao honored the singers.

Members of the trust of Gopalakrishna Public trust, religious committee members, BSKBA office bearers, executive committee members, members and more than 300 devotees were present.
