Mumbai, Nov 25: The golden jubilee of 'Mar Gregorios Orthodox Syrian Church' was commemorated in presence of Maharashtra governor Ramesh Bais at the church's premises at Chembur, on Saturday, November 25.
The governor released the golden jubilee souvenir on the occasion.
The supreme leader of the Orthodox church, catholicos of the east and Malankara Metropolitan Basilius Marthoma Mathews III, metropolitan of Mumbai diocese Geevarghese Mar Coorilos, metropolitan of Angamaly diocese Dr Yohanon Mar Policarpos, metropolitan of Ahmedabad diocese Dr Geevarghese Mar Theophilos, vicar of the Gregorios Church Father Joy Skaria, PJ Chandy, Philip Mammen, and other invitees were present.
