Kasargod, Nov 8: In a tragic incident, a student died by suicide jumping into a well here.
The deceased is identified as Ivan Crasta (23), son of Silvester Crasta. The incident took place at Padyana near Perla.
Ivan was pursuing BEd at a college in Thokottu. His lifeless body was found on Tuesday night in a well near his house. He was missing from his house and a search was in progress to find him. A note stating that he himself is responsible for his death was found in his bedroom.
Badiadka station police conducted investigation. His body was shifted to Kasargod general hospital. It will be handed over to his relatives after the post-mortem.
