Daijiworld Media Network – Atlanta (JD/MS)

Atlanta (USA), Nov 7: The foundation stone was laid by Puttige Sripada seer for a huge Sri Krishna temple on six acres of land bought with the help of devotees at Atlanta, USA.

The devotees have made a vow that the construction of the temple will be completed by the time Puttige Seer completes his Paryaya in Udupi.

As many 700 bricks with Shlokas inscribed on them will be kept in the name of devotees below the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. This will be a memorial of Kotigeetha writing project of Puttige Seer. This is the sixth math out of the 11 maths that are established in America by Puttige Seer. Now it is functioning on a small piece of land.

Herga Vedavyasa Bhat of Udupi conducted the Vedic rituals of foundation stone laying. Chief secretary Prasannacharya explained the details of the project that is led by chief priest of the temple Jayaprasad Ammannaya.

Vidwan Keshava Rao Tadipathri, Balakrishna Bhat, Harish Bhat, Ajay, Murali, Srikant and hundreds of other devotees took part in the programme.

We have enough Temples and places of worship --- -Need of the hour -- scientific + quality education important -- America has grown-- to Super power status -- because of emphasis on education -- meaning quality education --hence huge endowment funds -- Harvard -- MIT etc -- By EX students -- other Donors -- They have ensured that the USA is on Top ---(-Also any inner cities decline can be attributed to poor quality of education even in the USA --)-- SO PRIMARILY FOR EDUCATION -- most charity should be directed---and food -- for the needy--

The vegetarian food of Swaminarayan does not contain garlic onion and mushrooms, but very very tasty. In Gujarat if you want veg without garlic mushroom onion, just say Swaminarayan if you do not eat any roots say Jain. If you notice - in religious functions of Madhava Brahmins and GSBs food is served without garlic and onion.
