IMD issues yellow alert for Udupi dist. heavy rains likely during next two days

Udupi, Nov 5: A yellow alert has been issued for Udupi district for the next three days and heavy rains are expected during this time.

As per the information from India Meterological Department heavy rains accompanied by lightning and thunderstorms are expected from Nov 4 to 7 in various parts of Udupi district.

Udupi district administration has issued an circular to all the officials to be prepared to handle the situation and has also asked the fishermen not to venture into the sea.
