Kasargod: 'Customer' keeps shop owner busy, steals his mobile phone

Kasargod, Nov 3: A shop owner's mobile phone handset was reported stolen by his customer at Chittari Chetukundu under Bekal police station limits.

The shop owner, Mohammed Rafique, has filed a complaint with the Bekal police saying that a person who visited his shop in the guise of a customer stole his mobile phone handset that he had kept on the table in the shop, the act of which had been captured on the CCTV camera of the shop.

The owner said in his complaint that the man visited his store on October 18 late in the night and claimed that he wanted to buy things from the store.

The owner said when he was searching for some things that the 'customer' had asked for, the latter pocketed the owner's mobile phone handset that was kept on the table before leaving the place.

The shop owner told the police that the phone costed Rs 30,000.
