Dubai: Moodbidri Varado Catholic Assn to Celebrate Monti Fest on Sep 15

Dubai, Aug 23: The Moodbidri Varado Catholic Association will organise a traditional "Kutmache Novem Jevan" on Thursday September 15 at 7.30 pm at Karama Centre Hall here.

The programme will be organised to mark the first harvest of the fields and Mother Mary's birthday.

The members will celebrate the special day with showers of flowers to Mother Mary by the children, and then with a fun filled evening.

There will be a special fancy dress competition for children on the occasion. All Catholic children belonging to Moodbidri varado (13 parishes) residing in the UAE are invited to participate in the competition.
 
The competition will be conducted in two age group categories: upto 6 years and 7 years-12 years.
 

Rules:

Participants have to dress up in their fancy dress costume and come.

Performance time - 4 minutes/contestant.
 
No dialogues.
 
Participants must move around the stage.
 
Prizes – 1st , 2nd and 3rd prizes will be given in both age group categories
 
Organizers decision is final.
 
Children under six years may be assisted by their parents on stage.
 
Last date for registration: September 10
