Dammam: India Fraternity Forum Hosts Iftar Party

Dammam, Aug 23: India Fraternity Forum (IFF) Eastern Province for Karnataka Chapter organized its annual Iftar parties across the Eastern Province in Dammam, Al-Khobar, Jubail and Al-Hassa recently.

IFF is a social organization based in Gulf for expatriate Indians with members from all parts of India.

Syed Kalandar Soorinje spoke on the topic 'Rebuilding Ourselves' before Iftar at Dammam, Al-Hassa and Al-Khobar. He explained how a common Muslim should shape his character in the path of Islam and how one should hold on to faith and do good deeds to bring change in life. He also advised on ways to rebuild oneself through faith and seeking knowledge.

Parvez Ahmed Bihar, who spoke in Jubail elucidated importance of Ramadan, the responsibilities during the holy month. He briefed the Forum activities across the Kingdom during the year 2010-2011.

The Iftar party received huge crowd at every venue - around 150 people participated in Al-Khobar at Hotel Apsaraore and more than 250 people including women and children were present in Al Hussain Garden Hall at Al-Hassa.

There was a huge gathering for Iftar at Hotel Paragon in Dammam and at Hadeed Beach Camp in Jubail.

The Forum officials Rahman Kolnad, Irshad Jokatte, Sherief Krishnapura, Abdul Kader Maravoor and Asif Tadambail from the province contributed to the success of the events.

    Masha allah, so proud, dear organisers, pls have a look around our Muslim families who r not even having enough food atleast for 1 time even in this holy Ramadan.
