Mumbai: Four Kannada Books Released

Mumbai, Aug 20: Under the aegis of Karnataka Sangh, Mumbai University department of Kannada, and metro-based Abhijit Publications, four books were released in asunction held at Karnataka Sangh auditorium, Matunga (West), on Friday August 19.


Retired IAS officer Professor Anil Gokak presided over the programme.
 
K Manjunatayya released ‘Aaru Natakagalu’, a book authored by Dr Manjunath, Dr Eshwar Alevoor released ‘Anubhaava Sahityada Vibinna Nelegalu’ by Dr G N Upadhya, N R Rao released Kannada ‘Haridasara’ and ‘Marati Santara Samajika Chintanegalu’ authored by Chandra Joshi, while P D Kodalikar released ‘Samajika Pateya’, Marathi translation of Professor V Kra Gokak’s original Kannada book ‘Samarasave Jeevana’ on the occasion.
 
Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu, Dr Eshwar Alevoor, Dr Jeevi Kulkarni, and P D Kodalikar briefed about the books.
 
Karnataka Sangh president G D Joshi, N R Rao, Omdas Kannangar, Poornima Shetty, and Jyoti Devadiga were present on the occasion.
