'Bizarre Passenger' on Saudia Flight

JEDDAH, Aug 16 (ARAB NEWS): Passengers on a Cairo-bound flight were in a shock when a bizarre “passenger” — a tiny tortoise — started nibbling the toes of a young passenger on Saturday.

It was shortly before Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight 317 touched down at the international airport. The control tower in the airport received a message from the plane that security men should be ready when the flight landed, as a passenger caused disarray in the plane, a source at Cairo airport said.

The pet slipped from the hand baggage of an Egyptian woman while she was asleep. On seeing the creature, a woman started screaming, and others joined the chorus causing the confusion, Al-Jazirah newspaper reported on Monday.

LOL...having worked as cabin crew for Gulf Air, this is just normal. We've have cats, mice, birds in the cabin...all sorts of stuff. I mean as long as it wasn't a dinosaur or a lion...i don't see what the racket was about. Besides, a Cairo flight is 100% drama as it is, imagine some more. hahahaha. this story is hilarious. I feel for the crew though...having to put up with all that madness....still, its so funny!!!
